The Member-to-Member, Inc. fund is designed to give members in need a hand up and not a handout. Your cooperative matches member donations so together, we can make a difference in our co-op community. One easy way for you to donate to the Member-to-Member, Inc. fund is to consider our Round-Up program. Rounding up pennies makes a lot of cents! When you participate in the Round-Up program, your monthly electric bill is rounded up to the next whole dollar amount. The change, or rounded-up amount, collected each month is then deposited into the Member-to-Member, Inc. fund. At the end of the year, your total Round-Up contribution for the year is printed on your December electric bill. Our Member-to-Member, Inc. fund has been deemed a charitable organization by the IRS section 501(c)3 and can be used as a federal income tax deduction if you are able to claim charitable deductions.
